Chinese New Year marks the start of the lunar new year, beginning on the second new moon after the winter solstice and ending on the full moon fifteen days later. It is also known as the Spring Festival.
Dressed in our best Chinese chic, about 30 AWAP ladies and their partners got together on 1st February at the Bistrot de Pekin in the 8ème. We feasted on a scrumptious spread of Peking duck, caramelized sea bass, pineapple shrimps, Sichuan style sautéed beef, Imperial chicken, etc. A feast of 15 dishes!
It was a delightful evening of top-notch cuisine and convivial conversations – what better way to welcome a year of prosperity, good health and harmony!
Here are some photos from our lovely evening. Thanks to all our members for joining us!
