Born in Chicago, Grace is American-Born Chinese (ABC) and moved to Hong Kong in 1993, then to Paris in July 2009, with her French husband and 2 sons (6 and 4 years old). She recently launched her own home-based novelty cake and cupcake business, through which she happily expresses her creativity and culinary skills. Before this, she led the corporate life, first as a PR executive at Leo Burnett advertising in Chicago and Hong Kong, then as the head of Communications for Turner Broadcasting Asia Pacific for many years, traveling around Asia, the US and Europe to promote media brands like CNN and Cartoon Network. In this capacity she was responsible for marketing, PR, events, crisis management, and all facets of internal and external communications. She has organized all sorts of events, from small roundtable discussions with renowned international journalists, to major press tours for Cartoon Network characters, and large scale conferences for senior executives. After having children with an entrepreneur husband who was traveling to Europe much of the time, she decided to become a consultant to allow more time for her family. As a consultant she organized VIP events for international clients like Christies and ITV (UK), and launched a line of children’s clothing. On the non-profit side, in Hong Kong, she has served on the Charity Ball and Communications committees for the American Chamber of Commerce, served on the board and fundraising committee of Playright, a children’s charity, and was a founding board member and former President of a professional network called Women in Media. Now, she is pleased to serve as the Chairwoman of the board of the Asian Women’s Association of Paris.
